Pakistan's PM Escapes Assassination Attempt

Officials in Pakistan say the country's prime minister has survived an attempt on his life.

Authorities say unidentified gunmen fired shots at Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani while he was traveling by car near the capital, Islamabad.

They say the prime minister is unhurt.

Nobody immediately claimed responsibility for the attack.
